FAA Flight Advisory for UN General Assembly

KZZZKZZZ New York USA The FAA has issued a flight advisory for the upcoming UN General Assembly in New York, establishing TFRs from Sep 21-27. Overflights of Manhattan will be prohibited, and airspace near KJFK/Kennedy, KLGA/La Guardia, and other metro airports will be restricted. BizAv ops will be subject to TSA Gateway Screening and parking restrictions – keep a close eye on airport Notams for specific requirements. The FAA also warns that due to security activity TCAS may be less sensitive than usual within 27nm of Manhattan during the event.
