Operational Advisory – VIP TFR, Runway Closure, and Weekend Planning

As we prepare for this weekend’s operations, please ensure you review the most current NOTAMs and familiarize yourself with the upcoming VIP Bedminster TFR, as well as the scheduled closure of Runway 6/24 on Saturday from 0600L to 1200L.

While the Bedminster TFR is in effect, the west departure gates will be unavailable. Aircraft departing Teterboro with destinations to the west will be required to route either north or south around the TFR. As a result, operators should anticipate increased traffic volume through the north and south departure gates, which may lead to additional departure gate restrictions and delays. Please plan your departures accordingly.

If a SWAP event occurs while the Bedminster TFR is active, the TFR will significantly limit the available routing options around weather. Please monitor the latest weather forecasts and be prepared for limited westbound routing opportunities. Westbound departures should expect routing via the COATE orGAYEL fixes to the north, or the WHITE route to the south, to navigate around the TFR.

Additionally, while operating within the TFR, ensure your aircraft is squawking the appropriate discrete beacon code and that you remain in continuous two-way communication with Air Traffic Control, as required.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we work together to safely manage the increased operational complexity during this weekend’s events.
