Planned KTEB Rwy 6/24 Closure Sat, Oct 25, 2025

From KTEB Air Traffic Manager Matt Petersen:

I want to make all users aware of a required Runway 6/24 closure scheduled for October 25–26, 2025.

The Saturday, October 25 closure is planned from 1200L to 1800L. Please make all necessary arrangements in preparation for this scheduled work. If the airport is operating in a south flow configuration, we can expect departure delays off Runway 19.

If we are operating in a north flow, Runway 6 may close earlier in the day in an effort to complete all required work in one day. This would allow the Sunday, October 26 closure—currently scheduled from 0700L to 1200L—to be cancelled. However, if the closure is not cancelled and the operation is a south flow configuration, delays off Runway 19 may again be expected.

I am are sharing this information in advance so all users can plan accordingly. Please note that this Runway 6/24 closure is required, and TEB Operations and TEB ATC are working collaboratively tominimize delays as much as possible.
